Ikea has Fabric!

I went to Ikea last Saturday and oh my goodness they have really cute fabric.  With a baby on the way I am in the "ultimate nesting" mode.... not that I know that much about fabric, or even sewing I still had to buy myself to sets fabric.

What do you think of the black and white birds?  My husband loved them because they have realistic birds drawing, especially the burrowing owl.

I am thinking of making curtains for my first project and if I am really crafty maybe a boppy slip cover. 

Does anyone have any tips on how to just get started?
